The guest room is located in a building from 18th century which is accessed by Palace Square in front of the Palace of the Popes. Hidden in a shady secret garden, fragrant with boxwood and surrounded by fountains, the place is totally secure and quiet.
Guests can enjoy breakfast under the hackberry tree and enjoy the evening by listening a refreshing birdsong and the murmur of the water.
3 rooms are available. A suite of 30 m² located on the first floor, a bedroom of 14,5m² on the ground floor and an extra room in other building overlooking the garden.
Each room has a shower room and is air conditioned.
WiFi in the whole house.
The house has been renovated in 2015 in a spirit combining modern furniture, vintage pieces and artworks.

The B&B is ideally located, close not only to the Palais des Papes but also the Petit Palais Museum. The Lambert Collection as well as both museums Angladon and Volland are at a few minutes walking distance. You are in the heart of the very heart of the old town, with its mansions, preserved squares, pedestrian streets full of restaurants and shops and buildings of historical interest.
The shopping streets, the market of Les Halles are nearby - a high placed picturesque location is a 5 minute walk.
Alain Tchakaloff welcomes you!
I would be very glad to welcome you here in Avignon, in the city where I have chosen to live for a few years. I work in the publishing world and appreciate the history, the books (the house is filled with them!), the good music, movies, delicious food and especially meeting new people. I would love to help you discover the city in the best possible way and Provence by giving you good addresses where you can enjoy good restaurants and interesting places to see.
